Understanding ADHD in Children and Adults

Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is one of the most common but also contraversial childhood developmental conditions in the world. In the UK it is thought that between three and nine percent of school age children may have ADHD.

ADHD is understood to be a group of symptoms that may include hyperactivity, impulsiveness, and problems with attention and focus.

Our latest booklet 'Understanding ADHD in Children and Adults' looks at the topic of ADHD, its symptoms, diagnosis, assessment, and causes, and explores different options of support. We also provide details of further resources for those believed to have the condition and their families.
